Dinner Dates for the Disabled
Bored sitting in your Independent Living or Community Residential Unit wondering how to meet new people with similar interests and a similar outlook on life? Interested in new dining experiences in different parts of Melbourne? Would you like to go out to comfortable and disability friendly places?
D3 plans to run a program for the disabled run by the disabled. We want to arrange dinners for the disabled all over Melbourne where we can get together for fun and a good meal at a reasonable price. We are just in our planning stage at the moment and we need to know the numbers. If you are interested we need some basic information to get things started.
The information we need:
Your name (so we know who to talk to); Your suburb (so we can choose a suitable venue); Your phone number; Your disability (this will help our venue choice); If you need carer support.

This carpet was taken from the Top Bar in the 1928 Members Pavilion (now demolished) at the MCG.
