The Quokkas Cricket Club plays social matches for the sake of playing social matches, taking our lead from Groucho Marx, we wouldn’t be members of any league that would accept us.
The Quokkas field 3 sides: 2 in London (1 for T20 competition, 1 for weekend competition) and 1 in Melbourne, Australia.
We very much play for the fun of the game, looking to make some mates and raise some money for charity while we are at it.
The Melbourne side sponsors PBS local radio and has raised significant funds for charities in the past. We are always looking for a good cause to represent and good blokes / sheilas who are interested in donning the saggy maroon cap.
