AFL Blind – Expressions of Interest Survey

Hi there,

AFL Victoria is currently in the process of creating an adapted version of Australian Rules football for the Victorian blind and vision impaired community, and to better help us understand what you want out of AFL Blind we are seeking input through a quick survey.

You can find the survey in two formats, both formats with the same questions:

If you are able to complete the survey using the surveymonkey option this would be our preferred option. However, if typing your responses into the word document works best for you then please feel free to use this option also. If you do choose to use the word document option please send your completed survey reply to tim.nield@afl.com.au. Should you require support completing the survey please do not hesitate to call Tim Nield at AFL Victoria on 8341 6023 and I will be happy to fill in your answers for you.

So where to from here? We have a steering committee in place who are assisting AFL Victoria with the AFL Blind project. We will review all the feedback received and will pull everything together to ensure our first testing day for AFL Blind can be a success. We are earmarking mid-December for our first testing day. Within the survey you will have the option to opt in for testing days. We are aiming to run a total of three testing days, which by the end of the third testing day we will have a sound understanding of how a competitive game of AFL Blind can be played.
