Announcement 33rd Australian National Blind Cricket Championships

24/09/2015

The VBCA is delighted to announce that we have successfully concluded negotiations with and entered into a partnership with the City of Melbourne to host the 33rd Australian National Blind Cricket Championships at specialised and dedicated sporting precincts in the heart of Melbourne, the Sporting Capital of the World. Not only has this given us access to high quality facilities right in the very heart of Melbourne but that arrangements for accommodation can be sought for either the Melbourne CBD or
its immediate fringes.

The location for the 40/40 championships has been confirmed as Fawkner Park, only 3 km south of the Melbourne Town Hall in the CBD along St Kilda Road one of the major arterial roads leading to the south of Melbourne.

The location for the T-20 is yet to be finalized but will be at one of two venues north of the CBD, being either Princess Park or Royal Park. Essentially the two facilities are either to the eastern or the western side of Royal Parade, one of the major arterial roads leading to the north of Melbourne, and are only 3 km north the Melbourne Town Hall in the CBD.

We look forward to seeing you here in December.
