Head Coach appointed to the Victorian Blind Cricket Squad
Cricket Victoria and the Victorian Blind Cricket Association are pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Walton to the position of Head Coach for the Victorian Blind Cricket Team. Andrew comes with an impressive history in high performance coaching which include being the current coach of premier cricket club Melbourne, former coach of premier cricket clubs Prahran, Fitzroy-Doncaster and Hawthorn-Monash University as well as Plenty Valley Woman’s competition. Andrew has also spent time as a guest coach for English club, Middlesex County Cricket Club and as a specialist coach for India’s Karnata Institute of Cricket in Bangalore.
Victorian Blind Cricket is very privileged to have the services of someone of the calibre of Andrew as Head Coach and his appointment represents a quantum leap for the development of those in the Victorian Blind Cricket State Squad.
