With the cricket season starting a little later this year, we will not have had the opportunity for too many games prior to calling for interest as either selectors or nominations for selection in the Victorian squad to play at the NCIC championships in January 2019.
We have therefore decided to do so now. Accordingly, can you please advise your members that the Board is calling for:
- Nominations for Victorian selectors to pick the squad for the NCIC championships. Note, as we have decided to revamp awards for Presentation Night this year, it is likely that the Victorian selectors will also be tasked with the job of selecting the best player in each category (Partially A, B and totally blind) from our domestic 2-day competition this year.
- Expressions of interest from players who are interested in being selected for the Victorian team to play at the NCIC championships in January. Also, note if selected or asked to train with the squad, players will be expected to attend all training, particularly training events that have been organised by Cricket Victoria on the MCG.
