About us
The Victorian Blind Cricket Association (VBCA) was established in 1922 and held the first game of blind cricket later that year in Melbourne. In 1928, the VBCA unveiled the world’s first sports ground and clubhouse for the blind and low-vision community. The venue (in Kooyong) is still used today and remains the home of blind cricket and the VBCA.

Today, the VBCA develops and runs blind cricket programs that are enjoyable, safe and inclusive for the blind and low-vision community. Our objective is to ensure there is a blind cricket program for everyone, whether they wish to enjoy blind cricket socially or pursue the challenge of representing Victoria at the National Cricket Inclusion Championships.
