About BB02

Blind Blast is Australia’s National Blind Cricket Franchise T20 League.

 

The tournament is a multi-day blind cricket extravaganza contested by four franchise teams aligned with Victorian sporting icons. The next event, Blind Blast 02 (BB02), will be held in Melbourne from 20th-22nd March 2026 and will be contested by blind crickters from across Australia and New Zealand.

 

The overall objectives of Blind Blast are; to inrease participation in, and to develop the sport of, blind cricket; to build the skills and capacity of the athletes, coaches, and officials; and to promot the enormous benefits of inclusive sport.

13th Mar - Teams Announced

20th Mar - BB02 Commences!

Format

The tournament will consist of 4 Franchise Teams competing over six T20 games across the weekend.  Fixtures, scoring and results will be published on PlayHQ.

Location

All games will take place in the picturesque setting of Fawkner Park in Melbourne's inner suburb of South Yarra.

Getting There

TRAM​
The number 58 West Coburg to Toorak tram stops at Fawkner Park. (Toorak Road).  Multiple trams run along St Kilda Road.

The number 72 tram runs along Commercial Road.

BUS

Fawkner Park (South Yarra) is served by bus routes 246, 605 and 604

TRAIN

South Yarra is the closest train station, approximately 1 km from the park. Catch the 58 tram on Toorak Road from the train station.

​CAR / RIDE SHARE

There is limited, timed parking around the park.  Public Transport or ride share is the best way to get to and from the venue.

The South Yarra Tennis centre is the best place to use for pick up / drop off.​​
