About the event
Enjoy Derby Day with a social game of Aussie Ball at the Charlie Bradley Pavilion (Vision Australia, Kooyong).
We’ll jump out of the getes at 12pm with a free lunch, with the Aussie Ball starting once we hit the first bend at 1pm. While the horses (oops, players) head towards the back strait you can enjoy a cold drink and enter the Derby Day Sweep!
As the Aussie Ball enters the home stretch we hope to see the crowd expand with the arrival of the Swish stable of thoroughbreds. Post race (uhm, game), the “Top Hat” will be awarded, the sweep paid out, and then the real event will begin, the inaugural Derby Day Blind Gift will be run and won (by people, not horses)!
